Norman A. Thater Obituary (1940

Pavilion-Norman Thater passed quietly on March 17, 2026, at age 85. Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Winifred; sisters, Helen Milroy, Ann Thater, Joyce Hume; brothers, Ronald Thater, and Paul Thater. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Thater; children, James (Dacie) Thater, Ilene Thater; step-daughter, Beverly Wilkins; grandchildren, Tori (Jason) Latona, Stephanie (Daryl) Parmenter, Thomas (Julinna) Parmenter, Joshua (Logan) Parmenter; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Phillips, and Judith Loveland; and brother, Douglas Thater. Norm was a farmer his whole life. He drove a milk truck for AJac and Noblehurst Farms. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pavilion Fire Department, 11302 Lake Street, Pavilion, NY 14525.
