Kip Robert Finley Obituary (1961

Kip Robert Finley August 29, 1961 - April 21, 2026 Predeceased by his Father Robert P. Finley and his Mother Beverly A. Finley. Survived by his beloved wife Deborah Finley and children Kelley Ryan (Kevin) and Christopher Finley (Amber). Kip had four grandchild that he loved deeply, Kinsley Ryan, Briena Ryan, Isaac Finley and Sophia Finley. He is also survived by his sister Karrie Finley, other very close family members that were dear to his heart, close friends and brothers and sisters in Christ, all of whom he loved very much. Kip was born in Buffalo NY, grew up in Hamburg NY and went to college at University of Buffalo and Alfred State where he studied Architecture as well as RIT where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Engineering and met the love of his life, Debbie. Kip had a love for architecture, old houses and cars, gardening but most of all, family and Jesus. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at cook outs, birthday parties, camping, cottages and anywhere else, as long as he was with his loved ones. He ran his own business, Victory Hill Land Company and also spent time helping homeschool his grandchildren. Over the years, Kip held various roles within the Wheatland Town Planning Board and Wheatland Historical Association. He earned multiple certificates for volunteering and enjoyed sharing his love for all things historical. Kip served others wherever he went, regardless of convenience. He had a servant's heart and did something that's hard for most, put God's Word into action. He leaves behind a legacy of loving God and loving people. The family will hold a private burial Monday April 27th with a celebration of life to follow in June. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to Wheatland Community Church, 6746 E.
